This section reviews the basic policies and procedures that all BCCC students should be familiar with - whether you are taking a Distance Learning course or a face-to-face course.

It is divided into two parts and one quiz:

  • Procedures lists standard operating procedures at BCCC.
  • Policies addresses issues such as Cheating & Plagiarism and Academic Alert & Probation.
  • The Wrap-Up Quiz puts it all together to help you find out if you've learned what you needed to from this guide.

If you haven't set your career and educational goals, please go to the Choices & Decision Making section and begin there.

If you aren't quite sure what eLearning and Hybrid courses are all about and if either is right for you, go to the e Learning/Hybrid section and start there.

Student Quote
eLearning, initially requires a lot more discipline than traditional classes, but also offers the freedom to be able to do the work without taking time out of my schedule to attend classes, make arrangement for my children. I have begun taking courses on campus. I love the computer and the ability to attend class and complete all my work online. I like the mix of distant learning and campus learning, it provides a nice balance for me. I can take courses, work, and maintain a balance in my life.
