Online learning, initially requires a lot more discipline than traditional classes, but also offers the freedom to be able to do the work without taking time out of my schedule to attend classes, make arrangement for my children. I have begun taking courses on campus. I love the computer and the ability to attend class and complete all my work online. I like the mix of distant learning and campus learning, it provides a nice balance for me. I can take courses, work, and maintain a balance in my life.

An orientation is an opportunity for instructors to provide students with the information they will need for a eLearning course. An orientation can be presented in a variety of ways. On-Campus Meeting - you are required to come to the Newtown campus to meet with your instructor at a specific time and place. Online chat - participation is in an online chat room on a specific date and time. Online self-paced - all orientation information is available online for you to complete at your convenience. All orientations, regardless of how they are presented, will be either Required, Recommended, or Optional. Failure to participate in a REQUIRED orientation may jeopardize your grade.
