Where you are on the scale will determine your academic status

Acceptable or In Good Standing: If you have a cumulative GPA of 2.0 or greater, then you are under no restrictions on the number of credits you may enroll in.

Academic Alert: This would be an indication that you are experiencing academic difficulty. You are at risk of not successfully completing your academic program. Your enrollment is restricted to a maximum of 12 credits, fall and spring semesters, and 6 credits in any summer session.

Academic Probation: This is a second level warning category. If you fall into this category, you are in serious academic difficulty and at risk of academic dismissal. Your enrollment is restricted to a maximum of 7 credits, fall and spring semesters and a maximum of 3 credits in any summer session. Other conditions may also apply, as specified by the College.

Academically Dismissed: If you remain on probation and earn less than a 2.0 semester GPA for 2 consecutive semesters you will be separated from the College for the subsequent (fall or spring) semester. Further, you will be prohibited from registering for any summer or intersession course while academically dismissed.
