Bucks Celebrates 54 Students Who Earned their GED

The Lower Bucks Campus hosted a graduation ceremony for those who took free GED prep classes through the college and Pa. CareerLink.

Bucks County Community College recently celebrated adults who have completed their high school equivalency requirements with a GED graduation ceremony at the Lower Bucks Campus in Bristol Township.

‌The 54 graduates are from two GED preparation classes: Bucks County Community College’s Adult Basic Literacy Education (ABLE) program and the Center for Young Professionals program at PA CareerLink Bucks County.

‌Graduates, who ranged in age from their late teens to mid-40s, faced a myriad of challenges along the way to reach their educational goal. Many have families of their own, work full-time jobs, or faced other barriers that they overcame to reach this important achievement.
