Take a Tour of Historic Tyler Hall and Gardens with the Trips and Travel Club

Series of excursions concludes close to home today with a guided walk through the mansion that's the cornerstone of the Newtown campus, led by historian Lyle Rosenberger.

Bucks County Community College’s Trips and Travel Club concludes its series of excursions Friday, May 5, with a guided tour of historic Tyler Hall and Gardens from 3:30 to 5 p.m.

Experience the former Tyler Estate on the Newtown campus with a guided walk of the beautifully restored formal gardens, a visit to the mansion and a demonstration of restoration projects with preservationist Lyle Rosenberger.  All proceeds benefit Tyler Formal Garden.

This is the only tour that does not include transportation, as the mansion is on the campus at 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown, Pa., 18940, where there is ample free parking.

Tickets are $20 for the general public, and $10 BCCC students with current student ID. Tickets can be purchased online at www.bucks.edu/tickets.

The Trips and Travel Club is one of more than 40 student clubs and organizations available through Bucks County Community College’s Office of Student Life. Each trip is open to the public.
