Sophomores Peoples, Okan Named to All-Pa. Academic Team

Both were selected for their high academic achivement and campus involvement as members of PTK.



Bucks County Community College sophomores Julia Peoples (left) of Doylestown and Elifnaz Okan of Levittown were named to the 2014 All-Pennsylvania Academic Team by the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges for their outstanding academic achievements.

Both were active with the college’s PiXi chapter of Phi Theta Kappa, the international honor society for two-year schools.

Peoples, who graduated in May with an associate degree in liberal arts and speaks six languages, aspires to earn a Ph.D. Okan, who earned an associate degree in biology, aspires to become a medical doctor.
