Centurions Golfers Finish Strong at NJCAA National Championship

Dominic Foti finished 28th and Ryan Skierski 52nd in the Division III tournament June 3-6 at Chautauqua, New York.

Two members of the Centurions golf team had strong individual showings in the 2014 NJCAA Division III Men’s Golf National Championship June 3 – 6 at Chautauqua, New York.

Dominic Foti, a freshman from Langhorne, finished four rounds with a 29-over-par 317 to place 28th. Ryan Skierski, a sophomore from Philadelphia, shot a 46-over-par 334 over four rounds to finish 52nd.

Head coach Scott Bradshaw was proud of both players, who competed as individuals among 101 golfers.

“This field represents the best community college golfers in the country,” Bradshaw noted. “It was a great tournament and a wonderful experience for them. I feel we represented the region and college well.”

The team and individual titles were swept by Sandhills Community College of North Carolina.
