Plan Summer College Courses Through New Website Tool

Students can easily search through nearly 300 courses for subjects and schedules to choose the best way to reach their academic goals.

College students can now easily plan summer courses at Bucks County Community College through a new course-offerings search tool on the college’s website.

By visiting, students can browse through nearly 300 credit courses and descriptions, including dates, times, and schedules. Registration can also be completed online. The new course-offerings search tool replaces the printed course brochure that had been mailed to each Bucks County household.

Summer courses at Bucks are an ideal way for students to reach their academic goals. Visiting students can take courses online or in person at Bucks, then transfer credits back to their “home” college or university. Most credits transfer seamlessly, although students must check with their academic advisor first. Advanced high school students may also register with written permission from their guidance counselor.  Tuition is only $123 a credit for Bucks County residents.

Offerings range from Accounting to Web and Interactive Design, from Biology to Psychology, and many other subjects in between. There are a variety of course lengths and formats available as well. Choose from three-, six-, 10-, and 12-week-long courses, beginning in late May, mid-June, and early July. Classes are held at the Newtown campus, the Lower Bucks Campus in Bristol, the Upper Bucks Campus in Perkasie, and online through the college’s Virtual Campus.

Students are encouraged to register early for best selection of courses. To learn more, visit, call 215-968-8100, or email
