Annual Tea Raises a Record $16,000 for ‘Salute to Mothers’ Scholarship
Funds will enable the BCCC Foundation to award sixteen $1,000 scholarships next year to students who are supporting at least one child.
The sixth annual Women’s Scholarship Tea, held Oct. 24 at Bucks County Community College’s historic Tyler Hall in Newtown, raised a record $16,000 for the “Salute to Mothers” scholarship.
First Niagara was the event’s presenting sponsor, Mingoni Jewelry was the tea sponsor, and PECO was the scholarship sponsor.
The success of the event allows the Bucks County Community College Foundation, which administers the scholarship, to award sixteen $1,000 scholarships next year to students who are supporting at least one child.
