Arts Faculty Practice What They Teach in Biennial Exhibition
Nearly three dozen instructors demonstrate their artistic expertise through December 17.
Bucks County Community College showcases the talent of its instructors at the Biennial Arts Faculty Exhibition through December 17 at the Hicks Art Center Gallery on the Newtown campus.
Fran Orlando, Director of Exhibitions & Artmobile at the public, two-year college, says 31 faculty members are involved in the exhibition, representing the Visual Arts, Music, and Multimedia areas of the Department of the Arts. Orlando, who has curated more than a dozen such faculty exhibitions at the college, says the event shows the extraordinary range of Bucks professors.

“I’ve had the pleasure of seeing many of our faculty members’ work progress and change over time, and I’ve also had the pleasure of getting to know the exciting work of new faculty members,” said Orlando, who has worked at the college for 28 years. “The greatest challenge for me is to create a cohesive show from the work of 31 very diverse individual artists.”
