Top Students Named to 2009 All-Pennsylvania Academic Team

 

Meagan Bradshaw and Jennifer Pelizari represented the college in Harrisburg; Pelizari went on to win the President’s Cup Award

 

Meagan Bradshaw and Jessica Pelizari (left-to-right) were named to the 2009 All-Pennsylvania Academic Team, sponsored by the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges and Phi Theta Kappa, the national honors society for two-year schools. The sophomores, who earned full scholarships to complete their bachelor’s degrees at a state system school as part of the honor, are congratulated by President James J. Linksz and Vice President Karen Dawkins. The pair were recognized at a Harrisburg ceremony featuring honors students from community colleges across the state.

 

 

 

 

Jessica Pelizari (right), who maintained a perfect grade-point average while working full time, receives the 2009 President’s Cup Award from Dr. James J. Linksz in recognition of her contributions to campus life. The Morrisville resident was president of the college’s Phi Theta Kappa honor society, a Bucks Ambassador, and a New Student Orientation leader, and was named to the All-Pennsylvania Academic Team sponsored by PTK and the Pennsylvania Commission for Community Colleges.
