This trip will stop at the Upper Bucks campus at 8 am and will drop off at 5:30 am.
Visit the No.9 Coal Mine in Lansford, PA and once inside the mine, experienced tour guides will lead you on a walking tour filled with amazing sites and fascinating stories! See the underground mule-way;miner's hospital, and the 900 ft. deep original elevator shaft, which once hauled loaded coal cars to the surface. Then visit the Eckley Museum which preserves a way of life which dominated the anthracite region for over 140 years. Time for lunch and gift shops. Guided by Prof. Ray O'Brien
