Where and When
Time: 6:00pm - 9:00pm
Location: Lower Bucks Campus
Artists, authors, and musicians converge on the Lower Bucks Campus Friday, October 14 for the second annual “Show Some HeART” exhibition and sale at Bucks County Community College’s Lower Bucks Campus.
The event brings together members of the Artists of Bristol and Artists of Yardley, who collaborate to proudly show their paintings, sculpture, and other artwork. A portion of art-sale proceeds benefits the Bucks County Community College Foundation’s scholarship programs.
For the first time, the event features an “Authors Corner” where attendees can meet Bucks faculty members who’ve written books. Authors taking part include Henrik Booream, James A. Freeman, William Pezza, and Lyle Rosenberger. Also new this year is a “Soup-Off” soup-tasting contest where guest judges will determine the best of the LBC. In addition, the Eric Mintel Quartet brings its original jazz to the Student Commons at 8 p.m.
“Show Some HeART,” which takes place from 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, October 14, celebrates the arts and culture of Lower Bucks County. Admission and parking are free. The college’s Lower Bucks Campus is located at 1304 Veterans Highway, Bristol, Pa., 19007.
The event is cosponsored by the Artists of Bristol, the Artists of Yardly, and the Bucks County Community College Foundation. For more information, visit www.bucks.edu/foundation, email firstname.lastname@example.org, or call 215-968-8224.
