| Nonprofit organizations play a dynamic and integral role in our communities. Crucial to the success of any organization are the knowledge, tools and skills needed to grow in an everchanging environment. The Office of Continuing Education at Bucks County Community College is pleased to partner with the Pennsylvania Association of Nonprofit Organizations (PANO) and its Standards for Excellence® Program. This partnership is the first of its kind in Pennsylvania to incorporate the Standards into nonprofit curriculum. The Standards for Excellence® is an ethics and accountability code that strengthens nonprofit organizational management by establishing ways to assess and improve program operations, governance, human resources, financial management, fundraising and more so that the organization is ethical and accountable. |
These courses offer learning opportunities current to staff and managers of small to mid-sized nonprofit organizations who wish to advance their skills and mission. There are three core courses required of all participants. Electives totaling a minimum of 36 hours will complete the certificate.
