The Path to Peace
This class will present an in-depth look at the
Israeli/Palestinian conflict and itemize many
steps along the road to peace. Starting with
ancient history and moving rapidly through the
20th century to the present we will explore the
impact of history, politics and religion on the
peace process. We will look at a combination of
well known, disparate and little known voices
that speak in favor of as well as in opposition to
the current peace initiative. This course will
serve as either an independent primer on the
current Israel/Palestinian conflict and the peace
process or as a logical follow up to the
historical analysis undertaken in the course"Israel/Palestine 101.”
Please note that Larry will present an impartial
view of this sensitive issue, intended only to
increase understanding.
