Contractor's Certificate: Construction Management
Our Construction Management program will
provide you with the critical skills necessary to
succeed in construction management. Although the
certificate program is designed for individuals who
already have at least one year of experience in the
construction trade, any of the following modules
may be taken individually.

Writing Essentials for Contractors
You will learn efficient methods of business
communication through writing exercises and
assignments with emphasis on memos, letters,
reports, meeting documents, and e-mail
correspondence. While designed with the
contractor in mind, this course is open to all who
are interested in enhancing their ability to
communicate effectively with the written word in
a business environment.

Interpreting & Understanding Legal
Contracts for Construction
Contracts can be as important to the construction
project as bricks and mortar. While most
contractors use a pre-printed form, it is critical
that the contractor understand what the clauses
mean, when they are applicable and how they can
affect the parties involved. You will learn valuable
information that you will utilize in your work.
