Oil Painting - Express yourself!

Is your inner artist bursting to come forth? With individual attention, you will learn different methods of manipulating oil paints, basic drawing concepts, and develop your own style of painting. The creativity of beginning and more advanced students alike will be drawn out as we concentrate on color theory, color mixing, composition, and special problems in oil painting. To Market, To Market - Make your own Tote Basket

Basket weaving is one of the oldest crafts in the history of human civilization. Using natural materials, learn to weave your own market-style tote basket, while discussing the history of basketmaking and its various designs. Watercolor - Awash with Color

Watercolor is an extremely flexible medium used for everything from light sketches to finished works. Whether you are a beginner or a more advanced student, you will be encouraged to realize and appreciate your own unique vision as a developing artist. Painting from still life or photographs, you will study techniques such as washes, glazing, dry brush, texturing, and more, in a fun and supportive atmosphere, while learning from and celebrating each other’s individual creativity. Experimental Painting

Explore non-traditional painting methods beyond the brush, and discover the variety of marks and surfaces you can achieve with acrylic paints and mediums, using glazing techniques, acrylic encaustics, stencils, and more. Squeegees, rollers, tapes, and other tools will be used as you focus on ways in which abstraction and the organic can coexist. You will be encouraged to organize your surface geometrically and to pair this sensibility with texture, spontaneity and organic applications. Some prior art experience suggested. Let Bucks County's own jazz pianist Eric Mintel and his professional jazz quartet guide you in an indepth discussion about Jazz. Learn what to listen for in jazz, how jazz musicians think, what the roles of the instrumentalists are and discover the lives of jazz musicians both on and off the bandstand. Guitar for the Adult Beginner

Chicken Tikki Masala, Aloo Gobi, Curries and more; these sound pretty exotic, but they are easy to make, and so delicious! Discover the mysteries of cooking mouthwatering and healthy South Asian Indian cuisine, with hands-on cooking lessons while learning the cultural backgorund of these regional dishes. Take the fear factor of hot and spicy out of the picture by choosing to make the dishes spicy or non-spicy based on your own individual tastes. You will receive a starter spice pack which you can use at home, along with simple recipe handouts. Demystify this extaordinary cuisine!
