Bucks fall in Quarter Finals

10/22/12 (Women's Soccer)

On October 22, 2012, the Women’s soccer team at Bucks were not only playing their first ever playoff game, but as the #4 seed in Region XIX, were the host. It was an exciting day for Bucks soccer with the 2nd year players being at home for the final time. It was Bergen who stepped up and scored twice and the crowd wondered if the Centurions could respond... The last 10 minutes of the game Bucks pushed forward with everone they had and drew a Penalty Kick. Beth Bartasavich stepped up and scored. The Centurions kept attacking. Samanatha Kilpatrick, returning from an injury, left the defense to get into the attack to get the next Bucks goal... The goal never came. Bucks fell to defeat by a final score of 1-2.

Immediately following the game, 2nd year players, Jessica Williams, Samantha Kilpatrick, Samantha Eiser and Kelly Scheer were given plaques by Assistant Athletic Director, Justin Burroughs and honored and celebrated by teammates, family and friends for their time, effort and dedication to Bucks County Community College and the Centurion Soccer program.

The Centurions finished the regular season in 4th place in Region XIX with a record of 9-2 and an overall record of 9-4.
