Bucks Win in double Overtime

On October 17, 2012, the Women’s soccer team at Bucks were on the road facing Manor College. Bucks and Manor played a grueling 90 minutes deadlocked at 0-0. Manor needing a win to qualify for the playoffs challenged the Centurions for every loose ball. Bucks remained calm and in the second overtime period, Marissa Gates found Jessica Williams who finished the play with a goal giving Bucks the victory. This was Williams 15th goal of the season putting her in the top 15 goal scorers in the country. Morgan D'Apolito recorded her first shut-out of the season.

With this win, the Centurions now have a Region XIX record of 9-2 and an overall record of 9-3. Bucks is the 4th seed in the Region XIX playoffs and will host Bergen County College on Monday, Ocotober 22, 2012 for the quarter final match up.
