Women's Basketball 2012-13 Recap

4/15/13 (Women's Basketball)

Women's basketball at Bucks has shown very slow progress since their first season 4 years ago. This season was a bigger step because the women's team had record number of players to come out for the team this year and had stability in the coaching staff. Two things that have been lacking in its history.

The wins in 2012-13 were very hard to come by. They finished with 2 wins on the season and failed to make the playoffs while coming in 6th in the EPAC (conference). "It was a tough year but we hung in there," said 2nd year Head Coach, Lori Sullivan. "The girls fought hard the entire season". With only one 2nd-year player, Nicole Nasta, Bucks will have a core of players set to return for next season in starters: Jackie Kramer (G), Morgan Gottel (G), Sabrina Bellondorf (G), Regina Karluah (F) and points leader Shannon Swift (F).

Bucks finished the season with a 2-15 overall record and 2-10 record in the EPAC.
