Women's Basketball Fall Recap
12/20/12 (Women's Basketball)
In their fourth season as a varsity sport and first season in Region XIX and the EPAC, women’s basketball is coming along slowly. On the surface, the team is struggling at 0-6. In the grand scheme of the program, the team is moving in the right direction. Building a program is more then just wins and losses. The women's team has had record number of players to come out for the team this fall and have stability in the coaching staff. Two things that have been lacking in its history.
Bucks has 2 games remaining this fall. “We are expecting continued improvement in the second half of the season” commented 2nd year head coach, Lori Sullivan "we still have a ways to go but I'm pleased with our effort and dedication". Leading the Centurions in the first half of the season were Shannon Swift (6.8 points a game), Sabrina Bellendorf (5 points a game) and Jackie Kramer (10 points a game). The Centurions currently have an overall record of 0-6 and EPAC record of 0-5. They close out the first half of the season, this weekend when they head to Union CC for the Tip-off Classic.
