Men's Soccer clinch playoffs

10/3/13 (Men's Soccer)

The Bucks men's soccer team defeated the Montgomery County Community College by a score of 3-1 on Thursday afternoon clinching their 6th postseason appearence in 7 years. "I happy we are in the playoffs but our job is not over." said Head Coach, Justin Burroughs "we still have more to improve on".

Montgomery got on the score board first when Joseph Lasher found the back of the net. Bucks then regrouped and Jimmy Haslett flicked a long throw in by Evan VanSchie, over to Erik Mazurkiewicz headed in the equalizer. The score remained 1-1 until midway though the second half when Shane Nicolo found a streaking Jimmy Haslett to put the Centurions ahead. Erik Mazurkiewicz scored off a corner kick from newcomer, Geremy Sholtz sealing the victory. Bucks' Ryan Mager earned the victory in goal.

Bucks improves to 5-6-2 overall and 5-3-2 in the EPAC. On Saturday, October 5th, the Centurions travel to play Harrisburg Area Community College in conference play with kick off time of 12:00AM.
