Men's Soccer defeats Delaware

The Bucks men's soccer team scored 5 goals as the Centurions defeated Delaware County Community College, 5-0 on Saturday afternoon.
The Centurions jumped out quickly as Stefan Hofmann chipped the goalkeeper from the corner to give Bucks a 1-0 lead. Daniel Pinho was taken down in the penalty area and converted the penalty kick for his first goal of the season. Minutes later, Jimmy Haslett slid a pass to Shane Hofmann who fired a left footed shot to the corner to give the Centurions a 3-0 lead at half-time. Bucks increased their lead after the break when sophomore captain, Erik Mazurkiewicz headed home a corner kick from Shane Nicolo. Evan VanShie added a goal assisted by Mazukiewicz to finish the game.
Bucks picked up their 2nd shutout of the season with Trevor Hopf and Ryan Mager sharing the honors.
Bucks improves to 3-4-2 overall and 3-1-2 in the EPAC. On Thursday, September 26th, the Centurions host 5th ranked, Manor College in conference play with kick off time of 3:30PM.
