Centurions stopped in Semi-Finals

On October 23, 2012, Bucks men's soccer returned to the playoffs after a year off and took on Ocean County College in the semi-finals of the Region XIX tournament with the victor winning the right to compete for the Region XIX championship. This was rematch form earlier this season in which Ocean won. Bucks has since turned around the season and have been playing extremely well. Unfortunately, Ocean came out quick capitalized on Bucks' mistakes. Down 2-0 at half time, the Centurions regrouped and started pressing forward creating scoring opportunities that they failed to convert. Ocean won by a final score of 3-0. "It's tough being so close but I'm proud of the year my guys had" said Head Coach Justin Burroughs "We really came together on and off the field".

Immediately, following the game, Coach Burroughs spoke with the team and presented the 2nd year players (Jim Traynor, Sean O'Neill, Jared Dickson, Mike Klimowicz, Kevin Hilton and Carlos Pena) with plaques thanking them for their dedication and sacrifices for the past 2 years. He also annouced that Traynor, Dickson and Klimowicz have been selected to the All-EPAC First Team.

The Centurions finished the season in 2nd place in the EPAC with a record of 9-1-2 and an overall recored to 10-6-2. Bucks was the 2nd seed in the Region XIX tournament.
