Men's Soccer Defeats Montgomery & Harrisburg

Bucks soccer had a let down in its 1-0 loss to non-conference, Middlesex County College. On September 27, 2012, the Centurions were determined to bounce back in their game against neighboring Montgomery County Community College and they did. After a scoreless first half with many chances to score by both teams, the Centurions took control in the second. Jim Traynor drove the ball across to a streaking Jared Dickson, who finished the play to make it 1-0. Shortly after, Sean Kurtz chipped the ball over a defender which again found Dickson for his second goal of the day. Bucks was able to control the second half and closed the game off when Jim Traynor added a third goal, assisted by Alex Weinberg. Final Score, Bucks 3-Montgomery 0.

Bucks followed the game at home on Saturday, September 29, 2012 against Harrisburg Area Community College. Earlier in the season, Bucks narrowly defeated the Hawks by a score of 3-2. This game saw the Centurions take an early lead and never look back. Stefan Hoffman opened up the scoring with a driven shot outside the box. Sean Kurtz had 3 goals and 2 assists for the day. Jared Dickson, Wayne Horger and Johnny Bravo also scored for the Centurions. The defense of Erik Mazurkiewicz, Wayne Horger, Sean O'Neil and Mike Troyo helped Mike Klimowicz to earn his 4th and 5th shutouts of the season.

The Centurions will return to action on Thursday, October 4th when they travel to Delaware County Community College with a 3:30PM start. The win improves the Centurions overall recored to 5-4-2 and an EPAC record of 4-1-2.
