Davis makes statement in Bucks Win

The Centurion Men's Basketball upset the defending EPAC champions 87-85 on Saturday afternoon.

‌Trailing 77-70 with 5 minutes remaining, the Centurions went on a run to take a 85-82 lead late in the second half. Northampton's Derek Kulp hit a clutch 3-pointer to tie the game with with 38 seconds remaining. Bucks spread the floor to allow Kelvin Cobbs-Jackson (16 points, 9 assists) to drive to the basket and find William Davis (26 points, 14 rebounds) to lay the ball in to give the Centurions a 87-85 victory.

Ravi Sinanan (11 points, 8 rebounds, 7 assists) and Tareick Williams (16 points, 6 rebounds) helped pace the Centurions.

With the win, the Centurions improve their record to 6-4 overall and 5-2 in the EPAC. Their next game they play host to Luzerne County Community College in an EPAC conference game on Satuday, December 14th at 3pm.
