Men's Basketball Finish fall with a Win

In their first season in Region XIX and the EPAC, the Bucks Men’s Basketball struggled early in the season but have been gaining momentum. First year head coach, Donald Perry was looking for the right mix of talent, “the first few games were very difficult and we never got a rhythm”. The Centurions turned the corner after well played game versus the then conference leader, Northampton CC. Although a loss, their play was greatly improved.

Bucks finally got into the win column in their next game versus Luzerne CC which came down the final seconds with a late game 3 pointer by Giovanni Romero securing the 58-56 victory. The Centurions trailed most of the game before the comeback. Dontay Mobley (23 points), Giovanni Romero (14 points) and Tyler Nicol (7 points, 8 rebounds) led the way for the Centurions.

Statistical leader for Bucks in the first half of the season were Dontay Mobley (15.8 points per game), ShaneDavis (19.8 per per game), Tyler Nicol (11.8 points per game on 57% shooting with 8.2 rebounds a game) and Wayne McNeely (3.4 assists per game). The Centurions finished the first half of theseason with an overall record of 1-6 and EPAC record of 1-5.
