Centurions fall to Delaware County in Semis

The Bucks Centurions men's basketball team lost 57-66 to the number 1 seeded, Delaware County CC on Saturday, February 18th. Bucks, making their first semi-final appearance in recent history, represented themselves extremely well. The Centruions played extraordinary defense took control of the game early forcing turnovers and dominating the boards. Delaware County kept the game close but Bucks took a slight 26-25 lead into halftime. Delaware County went on an early run and the start of the second half and for their first lead. Free throws proved to be the big difference, with DCCC shooting 37 free throws compared to only 10 by Bucks. The Centurions kept fighting but were not able to close the gap.
Bucks Men's basketball had a tremendous season, finishing 10-8 and 1 game shy of the EPCC championship. Next season will be the team's first in Region XIX of the NJCAA with the team not only vying for a conference championship, but also a national championship.
