Circulation

The Circulation Desk issues library cards, circulates materials, and collects fines. Once you receive your library card, you will need to update it every semester. Members of the public may also check out ten books from our library. Students and staff of Bucks may check out 20 books from the library. For any questions about your library record, please call the Circulation Desk at (215) 968-8009.

Reserve Collection

Faculty members place items on reserve for their students to either view in the library, or check out for a few days at a time. If your instructor has placed an item on reserve that you need to view, come to the Circulation desk with your library card to check out the item. Items are shelved on the Reserve shelf by Course number. Please bring this information with you. The Library also houses the BACK course syllabi collection as a permanent reserve holding. Syllabi are received from the various departments as they are added or updated.

Government Documents

The College Library is a designated depository library for both federal and Pennsylvania government publications. All government documents have been fully cataloged and are available to anyone who accesses the Electronic Catalog. Additional government documents are available on Internet. These are also listed in the Electronic Catalog with proper links provided. All our depository documents are completely integrated into the library collection. They are valuable resources. Periodicals

The library subscribes to several current newspapers including, the Bucks County Courier Times, the New Hope Gazebo, the New York Times, the Philadelphia Inquirer, Quakertown Free Press, and the Wall Street Journal. The library also houses magazines and journals. Browse our list of periodicals, or visit the Library Information Desk. Special collections

Celtic Collection

These are special ethnic collections of materials purchased through donations and endowment funds contributed by various ethnic groups. To maximize the usefulness and accessibility of the collection, materials contained in these collections are fully integrated into the regular collection, cataloged into the electronic catalog, and noted in the bibliographic record with the note "Celtic Library Collection." Italian Collection

These are special ethnic collections of materials purchased through donations and endowment funds contributed by various ethnic groups. College Archives

The College library has an Archival Collection. This includes information related the history of the college, Bucks County Collegian, Centurion, College Catalogs, Middle States and Self-Study reports, Tyler Hall information and much more. They are listed in the library electronic catalog and have Archives in the call number. You can search by title, subject and keyword. Please request the item you need by call number at the Circulation Desk.

Faculty Publications

Many of our faculty have published articles, books, videos, and more. The library strives to collect these items and make them available to the college community. These items can be found through the library catalog by searching “Faculty Publication.” Search Now!
