Faculty and Staff Logins

Your Username

Your username for all Bucks systems is the same: your last name and first initial, up to 8 characters. If there are multiple individuals whose generated username would be the same, yours may be a variation on this (smithja, for example).

NOTE: If you forget your username, you can retrieve it by going to WebAdvisor and clicking Account Information at the top right of the screen. Enter either your social security number or your Colleague ID number and your last name, then click Submit.

College Network, Computers, Web Applications, and Faculty/Staff Email

A single "directory" login is used for access to the following resources:

• On-Campus computer network (all computers and instructor stations on campus)
• Faculty/Staff BucksMail email (Current system for all but NEW faculty/staff and those who have been notified that they have been moved to Exchange)
• Faculty/Staff Exchange email
• Web-based college applications (Course Manager, support requests, various "office" administration applications)
• Library and proxy resources, including all library databases

If you have never logged in to the Bucks network, your temporary password is bd followed by your 6-digit date of birth (MMDDYY). For example, bd012484. You will be required to change your password the first time you log in.

You must log in to the campus network itself at least one time to change your password; otherwise, logging in to "remote" resources such as the library proxies and web-based applications will not work until you do so.

WebAdvisor

Your password for WebAdvisor automatically grants you access to all roles within WebAdvisor for which you are authorized (Student, Faculty, Employee, and/or Advisor).

If you have never logged in to WebAdvisor, your temporary password is bd followed by your 6-digit date of birth (MMDDYY). For example, bd012484. You will be required to change your password the first time you log in. Your new password must be at least 8 characters in length and consist of both letters and numbers. You should establish your password hint at this time. Changing your password on the college computing network DOES NOT change your WebAdvisor password or vice versa.

Datatel Colleague UI (Desktop) and WebUI

Your password for Datatel Colleague UI(the desktop icon) and WebUI automatically grants you access to all mnemonics and applications for which you are authorized.

If you have never logged in to either UI or WebUI, your password is bd followed by your 6-digit date of birth (MMDDYY). For example, bd012484. We strongly recommend that you change your password the first time you log in by going to XPDD and following the password change prompts. Changing your password on the college computing network DOES NOT change your UI or WebUI password or vice versa.

Bb Vista Learning Management System

Bb Vista is the Learning Management System used for most elearning and hybrid classes, as well as some face-to-face courses. If you wish to use Bb Vista for a class or as a resource site, contact Online Learning at 215-968-8052 to have an instructor account established and for assistance with setup.

If you have never logged in to Bb Vista, your temporary password is bd followed by your 6-digit date of birth (MMDDYY). For example, bd012484. You will be required to change your password the first time you log in, then will be required to immediately login again. Your new password must be at least 8 characters in length and consist of both letters and numbers. You should establish your password hint at this time. Changing your password on the college computing network DOES NOT change your Bb Vista password or vice versa.
