microBIOPHILIA
February 7 - April 5, 2007
| Curated by Susan Hagen, this exhibition explores the idea of biophilia, scientist Edward O. Wilson's theory concerning the human species' affinity for other living organisms. It includes intricate and super-detailed artworks in a variety of media by seven artists - Caryn Babaian, Gregory Brellochs, Lindsay Feuer, Jeanne Jaffe, Eva Kwong, Bruce Pollock and Nami Yamamoto - whose affection for the organic world is manifest through microscopic points of view.
