microBIOPHILIA

Curated by Susan Hagen, this exhibition explores the idea of biophilia, scientist Edward O. Wilson's theory concerning the human species' affinity for other living organisms. It includes intricate and super-detailed artworks in a variety of media by seven artists - Caryn Babaian, Gregory Brellochs, Lindsay Feuer, Jeanne Jaffe, Eva Kwong, Bruce Pollock and Nami Yamamoto - whose affection for the organic world is manifest through microscopic points of view.
