The Bucks County Community College Foundation was established in 1982 as a non-profit, 501(c)(3), educational trust to provide resources for the College's growth and development. In its quest to advance the College as a community of excellence, the Foundation proactively approaches the private sector of the Bucks County community to secure financial support and other assistance for instructional resources, campus facilities, scholarships and awards, cultural activities, and special College projects. This community support enhances the College's ongoing activities and programs as well as initiates new services and programs not adequately funded through traditional sources. In addition to securing gifts on behalf of the College, the Foundation raises community awareness through its annual Tyler Tasting Party, Golf Classic, and Women's Scholarship Tea.
The Alumni Association has provided leadership and means for the College's alumni to unite in their efforts to support and strengthen the institution since 1983. Its mission is to keep the alumni well informed, to support the College community by raising funds that will directly benefit students and student services, and to promote and recognize BCCC's growing student and alumni population.
The Foundation is the only vehicle through which charitable gifts to BCCC may be made and is therefore the proper channel for gifts and donations from individuals, corporations and foundations. A copy of the official registration and financial information for the BCCC Foundation may be obtained from the Pennsylvania Department of State by calling toll-free, within Pennsylvania, 1-800-732-0999.
