Event Information

Hot after the recent release of their new CD “Can’t Find My Way Home” (Dot Time Records), The Jost Project is made up of four talented local musicians. They are internationally renowned Tony Miceli, vocalist/harmonicist Paul Jost, acoustic bassist Kevin MacConnell and drummer Charlie Patierno. Devoted to interpreting rock-related "standards" in a contemporary jazz format, The Jost Project creates an exciting new connection between jazz and the music of the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, Aerosmith, Donovan, Simon and Garfunkel, the Beach Boys and others.

The event, sponsored by the college’s Cultural Affairs Committee, will be preceded by a free master class open to the public.

The CD has been picked up by more than 60 college and jazz radio stations all over the country and receiving regular airplay. In addition, critics are raving in the US and Europe.  Jazz in Europe’s critic Johan van Deeg wrote …”The Jost Project is without a doubt one of the most creative bands I have heard for years. Blood, Sweat and Tears Music Director, Steve Jankowski said about Paul … “He was a stand out! I was captivated by his charisma and unique vocal style.”

The master class takes place from 4:30 to 6 p.m. The concert gets underway at 7:30 p.m. Both events take place in the Presser Music Room in the Music and Multimedia Center on the campus at 275 Swamp Rd., Newtown, Pa., where there is ample free parking.
