Event Information
Aimee Nezhukumatathil is a poet and essayist renowned for her spirited public performances. In her own assessment, her work is based on “the sound and color and flavor of words,” and takes a deep and sensual pleasure in puns, coinages, and crosslingual wordplay. Her books include Lucky Fish, At the Drive-In Volcano, and Miracle Fruit, and she is the recipient of a 2009 National Endowment of the Arts Literature Fellowship and a 2009 Pushcart Prize. She holds an MFA from Ohio State University and is currently an associate professor of English at the State University of New York in Fredonia.
