Do you have a passion for exercise, health and fitness? This course will provide you with the necessary skills and knowledge to become a successful Personal Trainer. After successful completion of the course, students should be well-prepared to sit for the American Council on Exercise Personal Training exam. Course based on the 5th edition of the ACE Personal Trainer Manual. (plus approx. $95 for text, ACE Personal Trainer Manual (2 book set), American Council on Exercise, 5th edition)

TAI-CHI CHUAN FALL 2017 RFTNS 0512 C01
The study of Tai-Chi is a beautiful way to relieve stress, and has been proven to promote a healthy mind and body. Learn the first 20 movements of the Yang Short Form, along with warm-up exercises that can be practiced anytime, anywhere.

Students will learn skills needed to attain American Red Cross Lifeguarding Certification. This will include water skills, classroom skills, CPR and AED certifications. Students must successfully complete all course requirements and pass both written and practical exams for certification that is good for 2 years.
Students will be tested on the swimming skills on the first day of class. They will be have to complete:
- 300 yard swim using front craw or breast stoke
- Tread Water for two minutes
- Retrieve a 10lb object from 7-10 foot of water
Please note that students who do not pass the initial swim test have the option of receiving a 75% refund or to take the course at another time when offered by Bucks County Community College.
Please be advised, there is a $35 fee paid due first night of class payable to instructor.
