9:00 AM to noon each day is called "Blocktime" at the Early Learning Center, and is a very important part of our daily schedule. This is our structured activity time, and includes circle time, indoor learning centers, arts and crafts, music, and outdoor exploration and play. It's also our time to have fun with campus resources such as the gym and the library and to experience special visitors and events. Because of this, we require that all children registered for morning hours in either the toddler or preschool program arrive by 9:00 AM and depart no earlier than noon. Blocktime hours add structure and continuity to the child's day, and adherence to this policy is important.
