You should plan to access your online course no later than the first day of the session. Failure to do so may jeopardize your grade. Other Orientation Information The instructor will send information about the course and how to register at MyLab & Mastering to student BCCC email accounts one week before the beginning of the course. All student are expected to follow the steps in the 'Getting Started' email attachment to successfully register at the MyLab & Mastering site in the first week of the course.

Your course is using MyLab / Mastering by Pearson, which requires the purchase of an
access code. This code is usually packaged with a new textbook, but may also be purchased
separately from the MyLab / Mastering website if it is not included with your book.

Purchasing Your Books and Other Course Materials |
While you may purchase your books and other course materials from the provider of your choice (using the
ISBN number available through the course's academic department
where applicable to ensure the correct version), both the campus bookstore
and our online bookstore,
guarantee that they stock the correct version for your course.
Approximately 3 weeks prior to the start of the session you can use the link

Other Information about the Course |
Students may either purchase the bundled textbook package from the bookstore which includes the MyLab & Mastering access code and textbook or purchase only the access code from the MyLab & Mastering website and view the textbook online. The package bundled with the textbook in the bookstore is only slightly more expensive than the access code alone.
If you have previously taken MATH101, the textbook and access code from that course may be used for this course.
Students will be expected to take 3 online tests at the testing center in Newtown, Upper County or Lower County campuses. Options for other testing locations require the approval of the instructor. Please note: that all tests must be taken in a proctored environment. In addition there will be six online quizzes which do not have to be taken at a testing center This class follows a required schedule and is not a self paced course. |
