Orientation(s) | Orientation for this course is REQUIRED. Failure to participate in a REQUIRED orientation, as specified below, may jeopardize your grade. |
| OnlineYour instructor will hold the orientation online using self-paced tools, email and/or discussions. (A self-paced orientation does NOT mean the entire course is self-paced.) You should plan to access your online course no later than the first day of the session. Failure to do so may jeopardize your grade. Other Orientation Information Welcome To Your E-Learning Course

Orientation for this course will be delivered via PowerPoint presentation. Please check your Bucks e-mail account a few days before classes start with directions for your Orientation. Once you are familiar with your responsabilities of the course, you will be asked to register in MyLab. MyLab is the platform that we will be using for this course, NOT Canvas.
Once you are registered and logged into MyLab, there will be an Orientation Quiz that you must take in order to proceed with any of your homeworks. How to find the quiz will be included in the Orientation information and syllabus.
Please do not purchase any books or codes until you receive the Orientation information in your Bucks e-mail. Do not purchase a "used textbook" from any website. You will need the MyLab code that comes with the purchase of a "new" textbook. This code has a seperate value of over $85. I believe a new text and code will cost you about $130.
Sincerely,
Janine Termine

Other Information about the Course |
Dear E-Learning Student,
This course is set up a little different than other E-Learning courses you may have taken here at Bucks. We will be using www.pearsonmylab.com as the main point of entrance into our course.
There is a required code that must be purchased for this website. The code comes free with the purchase of a new text book, which can be purchased at the bookstore. Please do not purchase any books or codes until you receive the Orientation information via your Bucks e-mail. All homework will be completed in MyLab using a program called MyMath.
In order to register, all directions on "how" to register will be sent to you a couple of days before the start of class.
All homework will be completed on line in MyLab/MyMathLab. If you fall further than two weeks behind in your assignments, I reserve the right to withdrawal you from the course.
All tests must be taken at one of Bucks's Testing Centers. If this is not possible, proper arrangements for proctoring must be completed before the first day of classes. There are no exceptions.
The Orientation will help clarify the many questions you may have. It will also be a good opportunity to learn how to navigate the site MyLab.
Please, if you have any questions prior to receiving your e-mail about orientation, feel free to contact me at terminej@bucks.edu . (E-mail is the best way to contact me.)
I look forward to working with each and every one of you.
Mrs. Janine Termine
