This online course is NOT designed for a first-time online student; be certain that you meet the course pre-requisite before registering for OADM110.

Canvas does NOT use an access code -- bring your textbook to our REQUIRED orientation.

It will be helpful for you to review the "Canvas Basics" tutorial on the www.bucks.edu website before we meet. Canvas assignments begin the day we meet for orientation, if possible, students are encouraged to read Chapter 1 and 2 before our orientation meeting.

Accessing Your Course

Canvas (by Instructure)

Your course is using Canvas. If you are new to Canvas, please visit the Canvas Basics course space to become familiar with Canvas prior to the start of your course. No login is required to access this space.

You will be able to login to Canvas about two weeks prior to the start of your class. However, your course becomes available as of 1 AM on the official course start date.

Logging In

Username: Your username is the same for every system at Bucks.
Password: your Bucks Network password (used to log into any Bucks campus computer or to access any Bucks Library online database from off campus.)

If you do not know your Bucks Username, go to WebAdvisor. Select Account information (upper right hand corner of the screen) then select What's My User ID? and follow the prompts. You will need to provide your last name AND either your 7 digit student ID number OR your social security #. Your Bucks username will display on the screen.

Note: Students are uploaded to Canvas several times a day. If you registered late, you won't be able to access Canvas until the next upload takes place.

Other Information about the Course

The pre-requisite for OADM110 is a writing level of ATP6.0 or higher, or C or better in COMP107. Do not register for this course without the appropriate pre-requisite, it is also not the best choice for a First online course.

OADM110. is a writing intensive course which requires numerous weekly reading and writing assignments. Assignment and Testing due dates will be discussed at the required orientation. The Summer OADM110 course covers the same material as the traditional 15 week course, therefore we follow a fast-paced schedule.

Students will be completing weekly Canvas assignments and Chapter Review quizzes via Canvas. There will be a typewritten Analytical or Informational Business Research Report required near the end of the semester, which is worth 40% of course grade.
