As soon as you enroll in this course as a Bucks County Community College student, purchase your access code for the Wiley Plus PREMIUM Version. Next, contact C. Smolen at smolenc@bucks.edu to obtain the correct URL for your class section.

PLEASE NOTE: Those who took the Fall 2012 online class SPANISH 110.E59 will use the same email address/access code to register, but must register at no additional cost at this semester's URL.

GET STARTED: Once in the course space, click on INTRODUCTION under "Course Documents." Next, click on Course format (syllabus) and take time IMMEDIATELY to read the ENTIRE document. Add DUE DATES for ASSIGNMENTS, QUIZZES (both in Wiley Plus) and EXÁMENES immediately to your phone/calendar.

Accessing Your Course

Canvas (by Instructure)

Your course is using Canvas. If you are new to Canvas, please visit the Canvas Basics course space to become familiar with Canvas prior to the start of your course. No login is required to access this space.

You will be able to login to Canvas about two weeks prior to the start of your class. However, your course becomes available as of 1 AM on the official course start date.

Logging In

Log in to your Canvas course space at bucks.instructure.com

  • Username: Your username is the same for every system at Bucks.
  • Password: your Bucks Network password (used to log into any Bucks campus computer or to access any Bucks Library online database from off campus.)

If you do not know your Bucks Username, go to WebAdvisor. Select Account information (upper right hand corner of the screen) then select What's My User ID? and follow the prompts. You will need to provide your last name AND either your 7 digit student ID number OR your social security #. Your Bucks username will display on the screen.

Note: Students are uploaded to Canvas several times a day. If you registered late, you won't be able to access Canvas until the next upload takes place.

Welcome to Spanish 111.E59 (Elementary Spanish 2). In this course we will continue to develop the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing addressed in Spanish 110.

Please see the BCCC course catalog foreign language placement guidelines to see if you qualify for this course.

1. This class will be delivered via the Wiley Plus PREMIUM WEBSITE of the textbook Con brío SECOND edition.

2. Written work will be submitted on-line through Wiley Plus PREMIUM edition.BE SURE TO REGISTER AT THE PROPER URL. Your Wiley Plus class URL - ONLY FOR BCCC-ENROLLED STUDENTS - can be obtained by contacting Carol Smolen at smolenc@bucks.edu.

p> 3. Oral assignments will be submitted via WIMBA within Wiley Plus PREMIUM edition.

4. Testing will be done in one of the BCCC Testing Centers.
