Other Information about the Course

Text for this course is Edition 8 of Psychology and Personal Growth, and Dream Manager by Matthew Kelly

Students are expected to spend18- 30 hours per week(15 week students spend 8-12 hours per week) in contact with the instructor and each other, as well as completing the reading and written assignments, during the six weeks of this course. One or more ONLINE CLASSES ARE REQUIRED, as well as replies to Discussion Board postings of the instructor and other students. Students will form groups which will meet weekly to work on Dream Manager projects and their projects will be evaluated by other students. Students can reach me at coconorbucks@yahoo.com or at my email oconorc@bucks.edu

. Communication and participation are key to effective learning, therefore the students will be required to attend a minimum number of class discussions and bulletin board discussions in order to complete the course with a C. The instructor later reviews the discussion. Writing skills will be graded as well as content in written assignments. This course provides students with a greater self awareness as well as deeper awareness in personal relationships on different levels which enhance their lives in many ways. This seems like a lot of work. However I feel that online students deserve the same educational opportunities as those students who participate in F2F classes.

This class takes a different approach to the psychology of personal awareness and one which can be fun and creative as well as informative. Looking forward to meeting you in July. Catherine O'Conor
