Other Information about the Course |
This course is the third course in the Calculus sequence and requires a grade of C or better in Calculus II. Multivariable Calculus is the study of vectors and solid analytic geometry, surfaces, partial differentiation, directional
derivatives, Lagrange multipliers, multiple integrals, cylindrical coordinates,
spherical coordinates and Jacobians.
There will be nine online quizzes and online homework along with a Midterm and Final. The Midterm and final each count as 25% of the final grade . The Midterm and Final must be taken at one of the College's testing sites. You must show all work or credit.Be sure to go over the Smart Board notes since that is what is covered in class. This course is designed for the mature math student who is willing to put in many hours learning the material. MyLab & Mastering is the online tool for the course.
