Thank you for your interest in Nutrition - HLTH 120N. I hope that you will benefit from the many experiences you will have to explore the science of nutrition. Please note that this course is an e-learning course. ALL aspects of the course (assignments, examinations, and postings) are completed online through the Bucks County Community Collge coursespace.
In our class, we will explore the science of nutrition. The course will encourage the application of nutrition principles and enable you to implement good nutrition in your own life.
Orientation: Orientation is completed by accessing the course site at the start of the semester. Students will need to review the Course Format and Course Schedule. Students will be quizzed on the Course Format in order to show their understanding of course requirements. A virtual chat session orienting you to the course will also be available during the first week.
This course uses a course management system called Canvas. It is recommended that students take the online Student Orientation. Additionaly, students are encouraged to visit the Technology Learning Center for assistance in understanding how to participate in e-learning courses. All of the recommended components contain information that you will need in order to decide if your computer meets the minimal requirements for accessing the course.
