Other Information about the Course

Text for this course is Edition 8 of "Psychology and Personal Growth",by Arkoff and Goud and "The Other Wes Moore" by Wes Moore

Students can reach me at at my Bucks email the semester begins and then using the Inbox on Canvas

Students and the instructor will complete readings and answer questions based on the text. Students will also watch videos which enhance the topics provided in the text and by the instructor. Weekly reading and writing assignments will be required. ATTENDANCE at weekly WEEKLY CLASS MEETINGS ONLINE will be REQUIRED as well as participation in weekly bulletin board discussions. Communication and participation are key to effective learning, therefore the students will be required to attend a minimum number of class discussions and bulletin board discussions in order to complete the course with a C. The instructor later reviews the discussion. Writing skills will be graded as well as content in written assignments. This course provides students with a greater self awareness as well as deeper awareness in personal relationships on different levels which enhance their lives in many ways. This seems like a lot of work. However I feel that online students deserve the same educational opportunities as those students who participate in F2F classes.
