Orientation for this course is REQUIRED.
Failure to participate in a REQUIRED orientation, as specified below, may jeopardize your grade.
Your instructor will hold the orientation online using self-paced tools, email and/or discussions. (A self-paced orientation does NOT mean the entire course is self-paced.) You should plan to access your online course no later than the first day of the session. Failure to do so may jeopardize your grade.
Your instructor will be handling orientation as indicated below.
Other Orientation Information
You can access your Orientation information in this course's Canvas space. You must retrieve this information in order to start the course. Please be prepared to purchase an Aleks code from the bookstore or online at Aleks.com with a valid credit card. Your cost for access to the program Aleks will be about $40. You will need a Course ID, so you cannot register on line without this code. The code will NOT be in Canvas, but sent to you via your Bucks email in Canvas. Everyone will receive a different code, so it cannot be posted in Canvas and must be sent to you.
If you need to speak to me before orientation/start up information is received, please feel free to contact me at...

Other Information about the Course
The Fast Track mathematics program is designed for those students who feel the placement test results do not reflect their true mathematical ability and knowledge, and for those students who would like to refresh and strengthen their mathematical skills.
Participation in this program could potentially allow you to complete your course of studies in mathematics in less time. If you are one of these students you are invited to take part in this program this semester.
Your placement will depend on a final assessment given in the program Aleks. You will be able to take the final assessment from your home computer.
You will also be asked to sign a contract stating that you read and understand the requirements of the course.
Initial placement (or starting point) will be determined by your Bucks placement score. If you have not taken the math placement test, you will not be able to start this course until you take it.
Please remember to go to Canvas for all the Orientation information. Also, if you have any further information, please do not hesitate to contact me at...
