3. Click on DISCUSSIONS in Canvas. Follow the directions.

4. Buy your 3rd edition Con brío Access Code. DO NOT buy this code until you have access to Canvas just before the semester begins. Important details will be provided then.

This course will use a website developed by a textbook publisher. Specific details for accessing this website will be provided by your instructor.


Canvas (by Instructure)

Your course is using Canvas. If you are new to Canvas, please visit the Canvas Basics course space to become familiar with Canvas prior to the start of your course. No login is required to access this space.

You will be able to login to Canvas about two weeks prior to the start of your class. However, your course becomes available as of 1 AM on the official course start date.

Logging In

Log in to your Canvas course space at bucks.instructure.com

  • Username: Your username is the same for every system at Bucks.
  • Password: your Bucks Network password (used to log into any Bucks campus computer or to access any Bucks Library online database from off campus.)

If you do not know your Bucks Username, go to WebAdvisor. Select Account information (upper right hand corner of the screen) then select What's My User ID? and follow the prompts. You will need to provide your last name AND either your 7 digit student ID number OR your social security #. Your Bucks username will display on the screen.

Note: Students are uploaded to Canvas several times a day. If you registered late, you won't be able to access Canvas until the next upload takes place.

Other Information about the Course

Welcome to Spanish 110.EA1 (Elementary Spanish One- 10 week version). In this course we will begin to develop the four skills: listening, speaking, reading and writing.

This course runs for 10 weeks instead of 15. It moves VERY FAST! It is for the self-starting, diligent student. If you are looking for an "easy" course, please do not sign up for this one.

Please see the BCCC course catalog foreign language placement guidelines to see if you qualify for this course.

This course is NOT for native speakers of Spanish. Please contact the instructor for other suggestions.

1. This class will be delivered via the 3rd edition online text Con brio from Wiley.

2. Homework and graded quizzes will be submitted in the Con brío website.

3.Tests 1-4 will be taken in one of the three BCCC Testing Centers; Test 5 will be completed on line in the Con brío website.
