What is #GivingTuesday?
#GivingTuesday is the global day of giving back, held each year the day after Cyber Monday. On December 3 2019, individuals will come together and support organizations that are positively impacting the lives of their community members.
How can I contribute?
During #GivingTuesday 2018, more than 100 donors helped us raised $14,746 (and counting!) for the Fighting Food Insecurity Fund at Bucks!! We surpassed our original goal, and through the Fund, students on our campuses who are experiencing food insecurity will be supported both emotionally and financially during a stressful time in their lives.
By making a gift on #GivingTuesday, donors like you will ensure that the Fighting Food Insecurity Fund can continue on each academic year. With your gift of any size, you can give students in need access to campus counseling services, local resources, and financial support for immediate food insecurity relief.
Additional Ways to Make a Gift
In addition to online donations, there are several ways to make a gift to the Fighting Food Insecurity Fund.
- By phone: give us a call at 215-968-8224, and we can easily and securely process your donation.
- By check: please specify that you would like your gift designated to the Fighting Food Insecurity Fund, and make a check payable to Bucks County Community College Foundation. Our mailing address is 275 Swamp Road, Newtown, PA 18940.
- By payroll deduction: faculty and staff at Bucks can make a donation via payroll through Bucks Cares.
