Grants for Students
For the Blind or Deaf
Blind and Deaf Higher Education Beneficiary Application Form for fiscal year beginning July 1 to June 30
An annual $500 grant for college expenses that is available to students who are blind or deaf. The deadline is June 30 of each year. Students can apply every year. Applications for first timers and for renewals are always available at the disAbility Services Office.

disAbility Services Legacy Scholarships
Legacy Scholarships (One 3-credit course at in-county tuition rate)
Open to current BCCC students
Awarded to students with a range of achievements in many fields chosen annually
according to criteria proposed by the College's academic departments and student clubs
and organizations. Established in 1999, there are currently 46 legacy scholarships awarded
at the College's Honors Convocation in May.
