This workshop will be an introduction to Yoga. It will describe the benefits of Yoga including stress reduction and greater flexibility. Participants will review proper breathing technique and spend 1 hour performing Yoga postures (seated, kneeing and standing poses) with emphasis on stretching and relaxation. The workshop will end with 5 minutes of quiet meditation (inspirational reading) and Q & A. Participants should dress comfortably in loose fitting clothes and bring a mat/large towel.
